BRILLION, Wis. (WFRV) - Authorities in Calumet County say a Green Bay man is dead and two other people are injured following a crash Monday evening. According to a release from the Calumet County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded at 5:38 p.m. to reports of a two-vehicle crash on Highway 57 to the south of County Highway K in the town of Brillion. Officials say an SUV driven by a 69-year-old man from Green Bay was heading north on Highway 57 when it crossed into the southbound lane and crashed head-on into a pickup truck. Wisconsin authorities remind motorists of highway crossovers following complete shutdown of U.S. Highway 14 The 69-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene while a passenger in the SUV, a 52-year-old woman from Green Bay, was taken by ambulance to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center Neenah with non-life-threatening injuries. The 59-year-old driver of the pickup truck was also taken by ambulance to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center Neenah with non-life-threatening injuries. At this time, the names of those involved are not being released and an investigation into the crash remains ongoing. Local Five will update this story should any additional details be released.
