GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - Laundry Love Brown County is all about supporting those in need within the local community. Local Five was at their event on Monday where Laundry Love Brown County helped to give people the gift of clean clothes. Bishop Ricken marks 25th anniversary of ordination, opens the Jubilee Year of Hope with Mass in Green Bay At the event, generous volunteers offered to pay to clean the laundry of several families and individuals in need. Image going for a job interview and you don't have anthing clean to wear. Imagine taking a shower, if able, and crawling into dirty sheets. It's real. We've heard it, we've seen it, it's just a very basic need in our community. Jean VandenLangenberg, Laundry Love Brown County Director VandenLangenberg says they serve around 70 families each week.
