FRESNO, Calif. (KGPE) - Powerful and potentially damaging wind is in the forecast for the Sierra early this week. Mono Winds could bring highway speed gusts to Sierra Nevada Strong winds out of the northeast will move across and down the mountains, gusting over 60 mph across some peaks and ridges. Downed trees and damage is possible with the strong wind.
