GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — All lanes of a section of Interstate 40 East in Greensboro as the result of a Tuesday morning crash.
The road is closed at Exit 222 for Martin Luther King Jr. Drive up to Exit 224 for East Gate City Boulevard.
Drivers are being told to take the following detour:
Take Exit 222 for Martin Luter King Jr. Drive
Take a slight left onto US 29 North
Turn right onto East Gate City Boulevard
Turn left onto the I-40 East ramp
There is no word as to what caused the crash or the status of anyone involved at his time. However, icy roads and black ice are still present on some Triad roads as a result of winter weather.
