Frederick County officials looking for teenagers who may have handled groundhog

FREDERICK COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- The Frederick County Health Department (FCHD) is looking to identify three teenage boys as a precautionary measure against rabies.
FCHD said that three boys were seen helping a groundhog near Sweet Crabapple Way and Ballenger Run Boulevard.
They were in the Ballenger Creek neighborhood around 1:45 p.m. on Dec. 31.

"The groundhog IS NOT confirmed to have the rabies virus. This is a precautionary measure," FCHD wrote.
