MADERA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - Three people were displaced following a home fire over the weekend in Madera, the Madera City Fire Department said.
Firefighters with the Madera City and Madera County fire departments responded to a residential fire at 10:58 p.m. in the area of Wessmith Way on Sunday.
Upon arrival, fire crews report they were faced with smoke and fire coming from the front of a home. Pictures shared by fire crews show a home engulfed in flames, with debris taking over the structure's floor.
Firefighters say the flames were primarily contained to a bedroom with heavy smoke and heat damage to the rest of the home. Three residents were displaced as a result, but no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
