PALMER LAKE, Colo. No one was injured after a small plane landed in a field in Palmer Lake Monday afternoon. The incident happened around 4:45 p.m. just south of the intersection of Highway 105 and Red Rock Ranch Drive. According to the Palmer Lake Fire Department, one person was in the plane when it landed and was not injured. The El Paso County Sheriff's Office said the plane was not damaged. At this time, there are no road closures in place, and it is unclear when the plane will be removed from the field. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is investigating what happened, according to the sheriff's office.
