Action Marine in Holyoke under new ownership

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - Owners of a long-time local marine sales and service company have sold the business.
After over three decades of providing service to their customers, the owners of Action Marine, Chuck Burke and Paul Robillard, are retiring. Due to health issues, Chuck and Paul announced the decision to sell the business in January 2024 in search of a new owner to continue operations.
Springfield City Council sets goals for the 2025 legislative year
Action Marine & Water Sports, Inc. opened its doors over 30 years ago as a small repair shop in Springfield before relocating to 1470 Dwight Street in Holyoke, offering year-round maintenance and sales of new and pre-owned boats and motors.
On Wednesday, Aaron Smigiel announced on Action Marine's Facebook page as the new owner, "I am truly grateful for the company they have built and showed me the ropes throughout the years. I am proud to say starting today I will be carrying on their legacy and will continue to provide all of our customers with the same friendly service and customer relationships as we always have!"
Action Marine is seeking a full-time mechanic ahead of boating season. For all your boating needs, the location is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
