GARVIN COUNTY, OKLA (KFOR) — The search continues for a man in Garvin County who's accused of raping a teen. The sheriff's office said it's not the first time he's had a run-in with the law.
"We're chasing him again on some very serious, serious allegations," said Jim Mullett, the Garvin County Sheriff.

The newly filed court papers accuse Garet Lyn White of raping a minor. The affidavit said a victim came forward last year.
"We're looking at rape, first-degree lewd, lewd acts, felony possession of a firearm after a felony conviction or violation of Oklahoma Computers Crimes Act," said Sheriff Mullett.
Court papers explain White texted the victim and asked if they were ready to "love on him". The papers also detail the alleged rape happened multiple times over the past year and a half.
Sheriff Mullett believes they have more than enough evidence to start a case. A detective in the case said they've been working on getting interviews and evidence for a while.
"We have to review those more than once to make sure that the information that we heard was right and just talking to family members around that to kind of get together everything," said Michelle Keith, a detective at the Garvin County Sheriff's Office.

"It's almost overwhelming...the evidence that we have," said Sheriff Mullett.
White's latest case isn't his first run-in with the law. His past crimes include burglary and larceny.
"He went to prison. And I believe that he got out in 2014," said Sheriff Mullett. The sheriff's office expanded the search for White.
"We have turned this over to other agencies to help us. And that would be the Marshals," said Sheriff Mullett. The sheriff's office also warns the public, that White is considered dangerous. If you know where Garet White is, the Garvin County Sheriff's Office wants you to give them a call.
