HONOLULU (KHON2) -- The Friends of the Library of Hawaiʻi will host their annual music and book sale at Washington Middle School's cafeteria from Jan. 18 to 20. Get Hawaii's latest morning news delivered to your inbox, sign up for News 2 You FLH's event, which is presented by Hawaiʻi State Federal Credit Union, will be in its 14th year with tens of thousands records, CDs, books and other forms of media being available to shoppers. Are school zone speed limits enforced during summer? Proceeds from the sale will support 51 public libraries across the islands. Fundraisers like this one provide extra resources that are not provided in the regular state budget, such as programs. The sale will begin at 9 a.m. each day, with the sale ending at 7 p.m. on Jan. 18 and 19, and ending at 3 p.m. on Jan. 20.
