Man shot, killed in Greensboro, suspect charged with 1stdegree murder, police say

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) -- A suspect was arrested on Monday in Greensboro after a fatal shooting, according to a Greensboro Police Department news release.
Around 9:23 a.m., Greensboro police, Greensboro firefighters and Guilford County EMS responded to West Vandalia Road when they were called about a stabbing and gunshot wound.

Arrival officials found Darius Deshaud Goolsby, 25, in the breezeway with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound.
He was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries where he died. Next of kin have been notified.
Detectives and Forensic Investigators responded.
A suspect was identified as Jalen Xavier Burch, 25, who was later arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection to the death of Goolsby.
