Investigation underway after armed robbery at Pixley gas station

PIXLEY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - The Tulare County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery after suspects took $600 from a register and stole cigars from a gas station in Pixley on Monday.
Deputies say at around 3 a.m. they responded to the Best Truck Stop in the 400 block of north Drive in Pixley regarding an armed robbery.

One suspect, the sheriff's office says pointed a handgun at the cashier demanding money and took an estimated $600 from the register, while the other stole an estimated $270 in cigars.
According to the sheriff's office, the suspects fled in a grey Kia sedan, which was found to have been reported as stolen to the Delano Police Department.
Detectives say they took over the investigation and learned the same vehicle and suspects had been involved in an armed robbery in Tulare and a burglary in the community of Ducor.
