SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- KRON4 News will bring you special coverage of the San Francisco mayor inauguration on Wednesday, Jan. 8. Nonprofit founder and heir to the Levi's Strauss fortune, Daniel Lurie was elected as the city's 46th mayor in last November's election. Barbara Lee files paperwork to run for Oakland mayor Lurie defeated incumbent Mayor London Breed and a host of other contenders through the city's ranked choice voting system. KRON4 will bring you coverage of Lurie's inauguration on air and online beginning at 11 a.m. Wednesday through 1 p.m. KRON4's Grant Lodes and Vicki Liviakis will be anchoring the coverage with special guests while KRON4's reporters bring you team coverage from around the city. After being sworn in at City Hall Wednesday morning, Lurie is expected to attend an evening celebration at a banquet hall in SF's Chinatown.
