The KHP has aircraft based in Topeka, Wichita and Hays. They have a Bell 407 helicopter and four fixed-wing Cessna airplanes they use for search and rescue missions.
How much snow fell across Kansas on Sunday?
The aircraft are fitted with infrared cameras which lets pilots see body heat at night.
