CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Chesterfield County Fire and EMS responded to 52 calls for service as the first winter storm of 2025 hit Virginia, including a crash that involved a truck that flipped in a snowy embankment. The winter storm arrived in Virginia the evening of Sunday, Jan. 5, with most of the state seeing its effects. According to a Facebook post from Chesterfield Fire and EMS, between 8 p.m. on Sunday and 6 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 6, county fire crews responded to at least 52 calls for service -- including a crash on Walton Bluff Parkway that involved an overturned truck.
