Archdiocese of New Orleans to host interfaith prayer for Jan. 1 attack victims

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — On Monday, an interfaith prayer service will be held in honor of the Jan. 1 terror attack victims.
The Archdiocese of New Orleans will host the Interfaith Service Prayer Service for Our City at St. Louis Cathedral led by Archbishop Gregory Aymond.

Joining Aymond will be clergy and members of Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist and other faiths to lead the prayer for families and victims of the Jan. 1 terror attack in the French Quarter.
The public will enter the Cathedral at the corner of Chartres and St. Ann streets. Law enforcement officials are asking the public to limit the amount of personal items and bag size.

They are also requesting that once inside, to remain seated and limit movement until the 60-minute service is over.
President and First Lady of the United States Joe and Jill Biden are expected to attend the service.
