MEMPHIS, Tenn. — An Oxford, Mississippi man was killed in a crash with a tractor-trailer Sunday. Mississippi Highway Patrol identified the victim as John B. Briscoe, 61. The wreck happened just before 8 a.m. on Highway 6 in Lafayette County. MHP said a Peterbilt truck driven by Chad Holcomb, 41, of New Albany was driving west on Highway 6 when it collided with Briscoe's Chevy Silverado. Briscoe was pronounced dead at the scene. MHP is investigating.
