Another mountain lion limit reached in Nebraska; one Panhandle unit remains

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The 2025 mountain lion hunting season in Nebraska’s Wildcat Hills Unit closed Sunday after three cats were killed. The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission said regulations require the unit to be closed once the annual harvest limit of three mountain lions is reached.
