Son on the run after allegedly stabbing father, North Carolina police say

SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. (WNCN) -- A 20-year-old Southern Pines man is on the run after being accused of stabbing his father.
Officers and detectives with the Southern Pines Police Department responded to 114 Cypress Circle for a reported assault with a deadly weapon.
Officers said when they arrived, they discovered a male victim who informed them he had been stabbed by his son. Police say the victim sustained several stab wounds and was flown to an area hospital for treatment.
According to officers, the suspect, Chase Alexander Terziu, left the scene in his father’s GMC truck. Police say they located and recovered the GMC truck in Brunswick County, but Terziu has not been located.

A warrant has been issued for Terziu's arrest. The warrant includes assault with a deadlyweapon with intent to kill, larceny of a motor vehicle and larceny of a firearm.
Police say Terziu is believed to be in possession of a firearm and should be considered dangerous.
