Appleton woman arrested for fourth OWI with child in vehicle

MARINETTE, Wis. (WFRV) - A 43-year-old Appleton woman was arrested Monday afternoon for her fourth operating while intoxicated (OWI) offense, with a child under the age of 16 in the vehicle.
According to the Wisconsin State Patrol Northeast Region Fond du Lac Post, the incident occurred shortly after 12:45 p.m. when a state trooper initiated a traffic stop for a speeding violation.

During the stop, the trooper observed signs of impairment from the driver, identified as Amber J. Harry of Appleton.
Following a roadside investigation, including standardized field sobriety tests, Harry was taken into custody for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance.

She was transported to a local hospital for an evidentiary blood draw before being taken to the Marinette County Jail.
