Northern Wisconsin police arrests man in the woods after tip from Brown County Sheriff's Office, facing multiple charges

FOREST COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) - The Forest County Sheriff's Office was alerted by the Brown County Sheriff's Office about a suicidal suspect who was armed with active warrants.
According to a Facebook post from the Forest County Sheriff's Office, after initially failing to locate the suspect, deputies tracked their phone to the Township of Alvin.

Deputies reportedly found the suspect and his vehicle, where it was confirmed he was armed with a handgun and possibly other firearms. Negotiations took place as backup arrived with an armored vehicle after the suspect tried to flee into the woods.
The suspect, a 45-year-old man, was arrested and treated for minor injuries and charged with:
Failing to comply with officers
Resisting arrest
Obstructing officers
2nd Degree Reckless Endangering Safety
Endanger safety with the use of a weapon
Operating a firearm while intoxicated
Fleeing officers
Two counts of felony bail jumping
Operating a vehicle under the influence
