STATEWIDE (WOWO) — If you need shelter from the cold this winter, the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration is reminding you to call 2-1-1. By calling 2-1-1, you can learn the locations of warming centers around the state. These facilities can benefit Hoosiers who need to take shelter for a few hours, though they are not intended for overnight stays. In Indianapolis, some warming centers can be found at various Indy Parks, the Lawrence United Methodist Church, Susan Roll Leach School 68, Wheeler Mission sites, and Horizon House. 2-1-1 Contact Information Phone: 2-1-1 or 866-211-9966 Website: IN211.org The post Call 211 For Warming Centers appeared first on WOWO News/Talk 92.3 FM and 1190 AM.
