Reward offered for information leading to arrest in Promenade Park stabbing

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The Fort Wayne Police Department is trying to figure out what led to the death of a man found with stab wounds at Promenade Park.
The Allen County Coroner identified the victim Monday as Anthony Paul Wamue, 48, from Fort Wayne. The coroner noted in the release that Wamue's death marks the first homicide ruling for 2025 in Allen County.
Saturday night, officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a report of an unconscious person in a bathroom at the park. Police at the scene found a man, later identified as Wamue, suffering from stab wounds in his torso.
Wamue was pronounced dead at the scene.
