WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Three individuals were apprehended for a November armed robbery that left one man injured, according to the Williamsburg County Sheriff's Office. Deputies responded to Brownlee Street in Hemingway on Nov. 30 for an armed robbery report, the sheriff's office said. When they arrived, the victim told authorities that two masked attackers forcibly entered the home, took personal belongings, and injured him. A woman identified as Heaven Lynn Cook was also with the victim when deputies initially responded. Deputies believe Cook played a role in facilitating the robbery, although she acted as a victim when the actual theft took place. 19-year-old Cook was arrested on Dec. 2 and charged with armed robbery and criminal conspiracy. Dyquan Tywan Young, 27, was arrested and charged by the sheriff's office with armed robbery, criminal conspiracy, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. Tyrone Marquise Palmer, 18, was apprehended by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division on Dec. 30 and charged by the sheriff's office with armed robbery, criminal conspiracy, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and burglary in the first degree. All three were booked into the Williamsburg County Detention Center. An investigation into the robbery is ongoing.
