The Detroit Lions are Super Bowl favorites again after a dominant performance against the Vikings, according to the latest Super Bowl odds. Now that the NFL playoff field is set, all eyes are on Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans. Fourteen teams still have their championship dreams alive, but only one will walk away with the Lombardi Trophy on February 9 from the Caesars Superdome.
FanDuel has the latest odds for the Super Bowl, and after their statement win on Sunday night to clinch the NFC North and earn the one seed in the NFC, the Detroit Lions are your current favorite to win the Super Bowl. Here are the entire list of odds, courtesy of FanDuel:
Detroit Lions: +300 (a $100 bet would net $300 in profits)
Kansas City Chiefs: +350
Baltimore Ravens: +600
Buffalo Bills: +600
Philadelphia Eagles: +700
Minnesota Vikings: +1400
Green Bay Packers: +1600

Los Angeles Rams: +3500
Washington Commanders: +3500

Sunday’s game was a return to form for the Lions, who were the Super Bowl favorite for large portions of the 2024 regular season. But with injuries mounting and some uninspiring defensive performances as of late, expectations for the Lions had started to slide. That came to a head when Detroit was handled thoroughly by the Buffalo Bills in a big Week 15 game.
However, against the Minnesota Vikings, the Lions looked like the Lions of old. Detroit’s defense made a statement performance, holding the ninth-ranked Vikings offense out of the end zone for the entire night—including a whopping three goal-line stops. Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold was held to his fewest passing yards on the season (166), while Justin Jefferson’s 54 receiving yards was his third-lowest output of the year.
And while the Lions struggled on offense early, they still managed to hang 31 points on Brian Flores’ vaunted defense that allowed an average of just 19.5 points per game this year.
The Detroit Lions are back.
