TOPEKA (KSNT) - The snowfall in Topeka is making history.
According to 27 News Meteorologist Matt Miller, Topeka saw the most snow in one storm since 1993 on Sunday. As of 6:30 a.m. on Monday, the city had been blanketed in up to 14.1" of snow.

It marked the fourth biggest snow of all time and the third biggest one-day snow for the capital city.
That cold air will linger through much of the week. The snow on the ground will have a difficult time melting even with sunshine. Aside from some clouds and a slight chance for a few snow showers on Thursday, the week ahead is looking mainly dry.
