Wasatch County Trails, Arts and Parks’ spring grant application is now open

The Wasatch County Trails, Arts and Parks spring grant application period is now open. Nonprofits, foundations, local organizations and individuals are encouraged to apply for this opportunity to bring “innovative trails, arts, and parks projects to life in Wasatch County,” the organization said in a release. Online applications can be filled out at wasatchcounty.gov/tap. The deadline to apply is Friday, Feb. 28. A grant application workshop will be held on Monday, Jan. 13, at 5 p.m. at the Wasatch County Administration Building. This workshop will cover grant requirements, eligibility criteria and information on matching funds. Members of the Trails, Arts and Parks Tax Advisory Board will answer any questions applicants may have.That board will review the applications and make grant funding recommendations to the Wasatch County Council in April. Grant recipients will be announced in May.
