ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WPRI) — Donations continue to pour in for the Somerset mother who was brutally attacked in an apparent road rage incident last week.
Hailea Soares, 31, was caught on dash cam video being slammed "head first" onto the pavement at a busy Attleboro intersection on Friday.
Witnesses told police the confrontation began after the woman rear-ended 26-year-old Gladior Kwesiah’s vehicle near Newport and Highland Avenues.
One witness reported seeing Kwesiah bang on the roof of the Soares' car before pulling her out of the vehicle. Another witness said they heard the two shouting, with the Soares yelling, “Leave me alone!”

"I didn't even say anything violent to him. I didn't say anything and he seemed very focused, very driven," Soares said.
The mother of two says her knee and foot are broken, and has a deep gash in her face.
"It's absolutely heartbreaking and devastating to see someone pick up your child and throw like a rag doll — and he did it twice," her mother Kimberly Soares said.
Kwesiah was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon resulting in serious injury, malicious destruction of property, and operating a vehicle without a license.
A GoFundMe was organized for Soares, which has raised nearly $20,000.
"I'm thankful that I'm here and I get to be with kids and everything again, and my family," Soares said. "Besides that, I wish that never happened."
