OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - Police have released new information regarding a shooting in southwest Oklahoma City on Saturday, January 4. According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, officers responded to a shooting in the 9300 block of SW 45th Ct. around 9 a.m. Upon arrival, they found 41-year-old Shawn Lawrence dead at the scene. ORIGINAL STORY: Police investigating after deadly shooting in SW OKC Officials say it appears Lawrence got into an altercation when he was shot and killed. The alleged shooter and everyone else involved have been interviewed and released. Police say the case will be presented to the Canadian County D.A.'s Office for review.
