LONDON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – A Laurel County woman has been charged with assault after deputies say she allegedly shot her boyfriend during an argument on Saturday. According to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred on Full Moon Circle near London. Investigators say 21-year-old Ivy Casteel is accused of shooting the victim in the stomach. The victim was flown to UK Hospital for treatment. Casteel has been charged with assault.
