HONOLULU (KHON2) -- The National Weather Service (NWS) has extended its High Surf Warning for the north- and west-facing shores of Kauai and Niihau until 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 8. The warning could be updated as conditions change. They warn that entering the water in these areas is extremely hazardous and could result in serious injury or even death.
