MANITOWOC, Wis. (WFRV) - Officials in Manitowoc say they made over 300 traffic stops, over 60 citations, and 15 arrests during its 2024 Winter Drive Sober Campaign. Packers’ fans react to 24-22 loss to Chicago Bears and playoffs According to a release from the Manitowoc Police Department, officers dedicated 460.5 hours of traffic enforcement during routine patrol from December 13, 2024, through January 1, 2025. During that time, authorities say they made 301 traffic stops resulting in the following: 62 citations (3 for OWI offenses) 207 written warnings 89 verbal warnings 5 drug arrests 5 felony arrests 5 misdemeanor arrests The Manitowoc Police Department encourages drivers to put safety first during the holidays and would like to thank our community members who found responsible means to celebrate the 2024 Holiday season.
