HEMINGWAY, S.C. (WCBD) – One person was injured during a drive-by shooting at a Williamsburg County apartment complex. Deputies with the Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported shooting at the Hemingway Apartments on Sunday. Once there, they learned that a gunshot victim was taken to a medical facility for treatment. An investigation found that the victim was outside the apartment when unidentified individuals fired a weapon from a passing vehicle. The victim was struck, and the assailants left the scene in an unknown direction. The investigation is ongoing.
