WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - Due to road and temperature conditions, McConnell AFB is in Mission Essential status until 10 a.m. Monday, and enters Minimum Manning/Limited Operations/Limited Services for the remainder of Monday. The base will remain open but expect minimized operations and limited base services. The Commissary and Base Exchange will be closed on Monday. The Shoppette will be open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Snow removal teams continue to work diligently to clear roads, the airfield, and parking lots, but the conditions on and off base require limited and cautious travel. Civilians and military members must contact their supervisors to know their status for Monday, including reporting times and telework options.
