NORTH DAKOTA (KXNET) — The North Dakota Department of Public Instruction is once again accepting nominations for the 2025 North Dakota County Teachers of the Year -- and anybody can submit a nomination. The County Teachers of the Year is part of the 2026 North Dakota Teacher of the Year Award circuit. This means that county winners can apply to be North Dakota Teacher of the Year. To be eligible for the County Teachers of the Year, educators must hold a valid teaching license, serve in a role that requires that teaching license, and spend more than 50% of their time working directly with students. The nomination period closes on February 9.
