Tornado watch canceled for parts of Louisiana, Mississippi: Severe weather threat through evening

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A tornado watch in effect for West Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge, Pointe Coupee, West Feliciana, East Feliciana, and St. Helena parishes in Louisiana and Pike, Amite, and Wilkinson counties in Mississippi has been canceled.
The tornado watch was issued until 9 p.m., with the threat of severe weather clearing the area completely by 10 p.m.
Storms could produce tornadoes, damaging winds, hail, and flooding, so make sure you stay weather-aware throughout the day.
