Livingston Parish deputies investigating hitandrun crash in Holden, 1 injured

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating a hit-and-run crash that occurred on George White Road near Lake Ora Drive in Holden on Sunday, Jan 5.
Emergency responders transported the victim to a local hospital to receive treatment for injuries sustained in the incident.
LPSO investigators are on the scene actively working to gather evidence and piece together the details surrounding the crash.
One person was taken into custody. LPSO said. Deputies also found the suspected vehicle.
Authorities are waiting for a medical status update on the victim.
