WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- As forecasters continue to track the winter storm expected to make its way into the DMV late Sunday, DC News Now spoke to some D.C. residents about how they're staying warm and preparing ahead of the snow.

One resident said it's all about planning.
"My mom always says there's no such thing as bad weather, only bad preparation. So, some things I'm doing to stay warm is layering, wearing warmer socks. I've got gloves with me as well," said one resident.
Another resident said he's going to make the most out of the storm.
"If it's worth it, we'll come out; if it's dusting, we'll work, and then we'll stick with that. But definitely, if there's a lot of snow, we're off work, we're gonna have some fun with it," he said.
