(KRON) – The City of Oakland experienced three commercial robberies in less than two hours early Sunday morning, according to the Oakland Police Department. The first robbery occurred at ExtraMile convenience store on the 1700 block of Castro Street around 2:45 a.m. Responding officers learned that multiple individuals used a blunt object to gain entry into the convenience store and stole several items. The suspect then fled in a vehicle.  Around 3:35 a.m., the Safeway in the 5100 block of Broadway was broken into by a group of individuals who used a blunt object to enter the grocery store, said OPD. Police said the group fled in a vehicle after stealing numerous items.  Pleasanton PD searching for woman accused of bank fraud  A little after 4 a.m., a robbery occurred at It Iz What It Iz smoke shop in the 2400 block of San Pablo Avenue. Responding officers learned a group of people drove at least one vehicle into the smoke shop to enter. The suspects shoplifted multiple items and then fled into a vehicle(s).   OPD did not specify if the robberies are linked or the make and model of the get-a-way car(s).  Anyone with information is urged to contact the OPD Burglary Section at (510) 238-3951.
