Interstates, highways closed in Kansas due to blizzard

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - Several Kansas highways and interstates are closed due to the blizzard
Interstate 70 is now closed in both directions from the Missouri state line in Kansas City west to the Ellsworth County line in western Kansas. Eastbound I-70 is also closed from Hays to the Missouri state line.
In addition, all highways are now closed in Marshall, Nemaha, Brown, Doniphan, Riley, Pottawatomie, Jackson, Atchison, Wabaunsee, Shawnee, Jefferson, Leavenworth, Lyon, Osage, Douglas, Wyandotte and Johnson counties.
These closures are in addition to the closures that took place in north central Kansas earlier this afternoon. Those include all highways in Washington, Clay, Geary, Dickinson, Morris, Marion, Chase, McPherson, Saline, Ellsworth, Lincoln, Ottawa, Mitchell, Republic, Cloud and Jewell counties.
Storm reports: Ice and snow are adding up
Motorists are urged to stay home if possible and give crews room as they work to treat roads.
