In an age where common sense is sacrificed on the altar of political correctness, female athletes are bearing the brunt of a misguided experiment. Policies that permit biological males to compete in women’s sports are not only robbing female athletes of their right to be champions in their own sports, but also endangering their physical safety and violating their privacy. These policies are unjust, unsafe, and antithetical to principles of fairness and truth. At Advocates for Faith and Freedom, we are dedicated to standing with brave female athletes who refuse to be sidelined by these ideological overreaches. Among these courageous individuals are the female student-athletes we represent within the Riverside Unified School District in Southern California. These accomplished high school athletes were forced to compete alongside a biological male, who had significant physical advantages, ultimately costing them ranking placement and opportunities for recognition. They are now boldly challenging policies that are not only scientifically unfounded but also socially destructive. Allowing biological males to compete against women, often dominating the podium, undermines decades of hard-won progress in women’s sports. These cross-country runners faced backlash when they peacefully protested by wearing shirts that read “Save Girls’ Sports” and “It’s Common Sense. XX ≠ XY,” with the school administrators claiming the shirts created a “hostile” environment, likening the messages to wearing swastikas. Such censorship sends a chilling message: the voices of women and girls can be ignored in the name of inclusivity, even when it compromises their rights and safety. Consider the stark reality: females are systematically losing scholarships, titles, and accolades to individuals who have inherent biological advantages in strength, speed, and endurance. These advantages cannot be erased by a declaration of identity or a regimen of hormone treatments. The result? A playing field so uneven it renders competition meaningless. But the issue goes beyond trophies and records. Female athletes across the nation are being forced to share intimate spaces like locker rooms and restrooms with biological males. These invasions of privacy are not just uncomfortable—they are unsafe. No young woman should be compelled to compromise her dignity or sense of security to appease radical agendas that ignore biological realities. This is not progress; it is a regression into a culture where women are once again treated as second-class citizens. It is a culture where their safety and achievements are subordinated to the whims of political trends. This fight is not merely about sports. It is about truth—truth rooted in biology. We are created male and female, distinct and complementary. These distinctions are not societal constructs but perfect design. Ignoring them leads to chaos, confusion, and harm. It demands a return to policies that prioritize fairness, safety, common sense, and reality over ideology. That’s why we are calling on the incoming Trump administration to restore Title IX protections for female athletes. The brave female athletes challenging these policies are modern-day Davids facing a cultural Goliath. Their courage inspires us to stand firm and fight for a future where truth prevails, where women are celebrated, and where the next generation can thrive without fear or compromise. It’s time to end the charade. Protect women. Defend fairness. Speak truth.
