FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WLNE) — The New England Patriots have fired Head Coach Jerod Mayo after their 23-16 win over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
In a statement from team Chairman and CEO Robert Craft posted on social media, the decision “was one of the hardest [Kraft] had ever made.”
“When he joined our coaching staff, his leadrship was even more evident,” Kraft said. “Unfortunately, the trajectory of our team’s performances throughout the season did not ascend as I had hoped.”
