PELHAM, Mass. (WPRI) -- Massachusetts State Troopers helped save an injured owl after it was stuck by a vehicle. On New Year's Day, Troopers Mathew Buscanera and Sean Mucci were called to reports of an injured owl on Route 202 in Pelham. Once they arrived to scene and located the owl, they found it had been struck by a vehicle and suffered a broken wing. The Troopers were able to get the owl safely out of the roadway and moved it inside their cruiser. Arrangements were made for the owl to be taken to a rehabilitation center in Conway, New Hampshire.
