Incoming first lady Melania Trump will star in a documentary film project with Amazon Prime Video set to debut in the second half of 2025, an Amazon spokesperson announced Sunday.
Filming for the documentary began in December 2024 and is ongoing, according to the press release.
"Amazon Prime Video has exclusively licensed an upcoming documentary film for both theatrical and streaming release that will give viewers an unprecedented, behind-the-scenes look at First Lady Melania Trump,” an Amazon spokesperson said in a statement.
Release plans are still being finalized, but the “anticipated release" is slated for "the second half of 2025,” the statement said.
The future first lady is an executive producer on the project, as is New Element Media’s Fernando Sulichin. RatPac Entertainment’s Brett Ratner is the director.
“We are excited to share this truly unique story with our millions of customers around the world,” the Amazon spokesperson added in the statement.
