Patriots season nearing end as team prepares for game against Buffalo Bills

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WWLP) - On Sunday, the Patriots will take on the Buffalo Bills in Foxborough in what will be the final game of a disappointing season.
Jerod Mayo's team is entering this season finale against the Buffalo Bills with a 3 and 13 record. The Bills are coming off a 40-14 win against the New York Jets and are expected to play their starters, including quarterback Josh Allen, at least for the start of the game.
Harlem Globetrotters’ triumphant return to Springfield against Washington Generals a slam dunk
The Bills have a record of 13 and 3 and the number 2 seat in the playoffs. As for the Patriots, rookie quarterback Drake Maye is expected to start, despite taking a blow to the head against the Chargers last game.
With Jerod Mayo as head coach and former manager Bill Belichick nowhere on the sidelines for the first time in over a decade, this season began a new chapter of Patriots football. While they were hopeful, the team ended up falling short.
One thing to look out for today is if the Patriots lose, New England solidifies the number one pick in the NFL draft in April. If they win, they'll still have a top 5 pick.
Kick-off begins at 1:00 p.m. in Foxborough. New England fans seemed to have had enough at the last game against the Chargers, as they were heard booing and chanting, "Fire Mayo." We'll have to see how crowds act Sunday afternoon and how Western Massachusetts fans feel about this disappointing season.
