NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The FBI provided an update on its investigation into the Bourbon Street attack that left 14 dead and dozens injured. On Jan. 1, 2025, the FBI reported that a person drove a pickup truck into a crowd of people, killing 14 and wounding at least 35. On Jan. 3, FBI officials stated that bomb materials and other evidence were found at a house on Mandeville Street after an investigation with ATF after New Orleans fire crews responded to a fire at the home on the morning of Jan. 1. One dead following early morning New Orleans East fire According to the FBI, Jabbar allegedly set a fire in the hallway and placed accelerants throughout the house.
