MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A woman was arrested this weekend after allegedly stabbing one of her co-workers after a fight over money. On November 02, 2024, a female victim told officers that she and a co-worker, later identified as Tammera Hampton, got into a verbal altercation about money. Tammera Hampton. (SCSO) The victim said that the argument between her and Hampton turned into a physical altercation, where the victim was allegedly punched multiple times by Hampton. She also claims Hampton allegedly stabbed her in the forehead above her right eye with a sharp object. The victim told officers she had multiple bruises and a deep wound where the sharp object pierced through her forehead. Man arrested in connection to catering business arson She had to go to the hospital to receive stitches. She told officers she wished to prosecute. On December 28, 2024, the victims came to Raines Station where she recorded a victim's statement. According to the police report, she also viewed a six-person lineup where she identified Tammera Hampton as the person who hit her with closed fists and stabbed her. Hampton was arrested on Saturday and charged with aggravated assault. Her bond is not known at this time.
