KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Parts of the Kansas City metro are under a Blizzard Warning, the first since November 2018, until early Monday morning. On Saturday, freezing rain and icy road conditions were the primary concern for residents across the Kansas City metro. Now, on Sunday morning, heavy winds mixed with snow (with some parts of the metro expecting 10-15 inches) are one of the primary concerns. Winter storm updates and continuous coverage around the KC metro on FOX4 At this time, many flights have been delayed, roads have been blocked off, and Sunday events have been canceled. As for Monday, if the winter weather conditions are as the FOX4 news team has predicted, many students can expect an extended Christmas break. While it is encouraged to stay home, many are having to brave the winter storm regardless of the conditions. That is why FOX4 is working for you to provide traffic conditions throughout the day.
