VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A man is sought after allegedly threatening teenagers with a wrench after robbing them at a Visalia gas station Saturday afternoon, the Visalia Police Department announced.
Police say just after 4 p.m. they responded to the 1600 block of north Ben Maddox Way for a report of a robbery.
Investigators say two teenagers reported while they were at the 76 Gas Station a man took cash from one of their hands. The man then swung a pipe wrench at them before fleeing on a bicycle.
Officers describe the suspect as wearing a black sweatshirt and dark pants, with a black backpack and was last seen on Ben Maddox Way, crossing northbound on the St. John’s River bridge.
The two teenagers were unharmed.
