Rainbow Warriors grab 1st win of conference play

The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors defeated Cal Poly 68-55 at home on Saturday.
Hawaii led 27-22 after the 1st half, with help from forcing the Mustangs to only a 25% from the field shooting 8-32.
In the 2nd half, UH shot 13 Free Throws, making 12. The 'Bows pushed their lead to 20 at one point after a hot start in the final 20 minutes, including a 15-2 run to start the half.
The 'Bows never gave up the lead in this game.
UH outrebounded Cal Poly 41 to 34. The Mustangs came into this game as the No.1 ranked team in the nation in Tempo, averaging over 80 possessions a game and were near the top in the country in 3-pointers.
Hawaii held Cal Poly to only 7 made threes on 31 shots. The Mustangs tempo did give them 65 total shots from the field to the 'Bows 51.
